1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Weaver platform, including our website, mobile applications, mini programs, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Haowan Market (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. ("Weaver", "we", "us").
By registering, browsing, purchasing, selling, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Related policies (incorporated by reference where applicable): Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Listing Standards, Custom Order Rules, and Merchant Policies displayed in the app or at checkout.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
2.1 Age
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and enter into binding transactions. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
2.2 Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at service@weavermarket.cn if you suspect unauthorized access.
2.3 One account
Unless we approve otherwise, one natural person or legal entity may maintain only one consumer account. We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, or used to circumvent platform rules.
3. Platform Services
Weaver is a marketplace and community focused on original handmade goods. We connect independent makers and buyers. We are not the seller of record for third-party listings unless explicitly stated.
Services may include: browsing and searching listings; messaging; checkout and order management; custom and made-to-order workflows; presale listings; reviews; follows; and seller tools for eligible merchants.
We may add, change, or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects paid services you already purchased, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable.
4. Buyer Terms
4.1 Orders
When you place an order, you offer to purchase the listed item(s) on the terms shown (price, currency, shipping, customization details, presale timeline, and return policy). A contract is formed when the seller accepts or fulfills the order according to Platform rules.
4.2 Pricing & taxes
Prices, shipping, duties, and taxes (where shown) are as displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any import duties or local taxes not collected by the Platform unless stated otherwise.
4.3 Handmade & custom goods
Handmade and custom items may differ slightly from photos; minor variations are normal. Custom orders require clear written confirmation of specifications in the order flow. Presale items display estimated production and shipping windows—delays should be communicated by the seller.
4.4 Returns & refunds
Return eligibility depends on the listing, order type (standard, custom, presale), and applicable law. Platform and seller policies shown at checkout apply. Open a dispute or contact support at service@weavermarket.cn if goods are materially not as described, damaged in transit, or never delivered.
5. Seller Terms
5.1 Eligibility
Sellers must complete onboarding, provide truthful shop information, and comply with our Merchant Agreement and Listing Standards. We may require identity or business verification for payouts or high-risk categories.
5.2 Listings
You represent that you have the right to sell each item, that descriptions and photos are accurate, and that items are handmade or original as represented. Counterfeit, mass-produced resold goods presented as handmade, or infringing listings are prohibited.
5.3 Fulfillment
Sellers must ship within stated handling times, provide valid tracking when applicable, and respond to buyer inquiries in a reasonable time. Failure to fulfill may result in cancellation, refunds, account restrictions, or permanent removal.
5.4 Fees & payouts
Applicable platform fees, payment processing, and payout schedules are shown in seller tools or merchant documentation. You are responsible for your own tax obligations unless we are required by law to collect or remit on your behalf.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights (including intellectual property and privacy);
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful content;
- Manipulate reviews, rankings, or transactions (including self-dealing or fake orders);
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Platform without permission;
- Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial solicitation or malware distribution;
- Circumvent fees, geographic restrictions, or enforcement actions.
We may remove content, cancel transactions, withhold payouts, or terminate accounts for violations.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform, trademarks, software, and design are owned by Weaver or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Weaver a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and promote your content solely to operate and market the Platform, unless you opt out where such option is provided.
Report copyright or trademark concerns to service@weavermarket.cn with sufficient detail for us to assess the claim. Repeat infringers may be terminated.
8. International Users
Weaver is operated from China and serves users globally where permitted. You are responsible for compliance with local laws. Product availability, payment methods, and shipping may vary by region. Cross-border orders may be subject to customs clearance delays.
If you access the Platform from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights you have under local law.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We are not a party to contracts between buyers and sellers except where we explicitly act as seller or payment facilitator under separate terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weaver and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Weaver in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) USD $100, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weaver from claims arising out of your content, listings, transactions, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12. Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution: Contact service@weavermarket.cn first; we will try to resolve disputes in good faith.
Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer law applies.
Jurisdiction: Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes shall be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction in Beijing, China. EU/UK consumers may also bring claims in their country of residence where required by law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the Platform, email, or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Platform and close your account.
