About me

My name is Svetlana Zamudryakova, a Russian artisan specializing in felt sculptures and handmade felt plush dolls.

I treat wool as ink and felting needles as paintbrushes, stitching every thread of my wild, free-flowing imagination deep into soft felt. Through this craft, I build a whimsical tiny world brimming with absurd humor and calming comfort.

My creations defy all clichés and rigid conventions: gangs of spotted hyenas clutching cigarettes and liquor bottles, sleepy, listless poodles with bleary drunk eyes, green sprites with butterfly wings cradling mysterious glass vials, and fluffy white fuzzy balls holding poisonous mushrooms with mischievous grins — alongside countless other peculiar characters.

Each doll comes with a vivid, distinct personality. Some are sly and crafty, some slow and laid-back, while others carry a delightfully eccentric charm. It almost feels like they might jump up at any second to whisper their little secrets to you.

These whimsical little beings blur the line between reality and fantasy. Every piece unfolds as a miniature tale, gently yet playfully striking that deep-seated longing for fun and childlike wonder hidden within everyone’s heart.
